An article on the internet has brought even more evidence of global warming to the table. In it it says:
Scientists examined five different measures of the width of the tropical belt, and found it expanded by between 2 and 4.8 degrees latitude since 1979.
What this means to those who don’t know much about climate that the inferno this fall in southern california, and the 11 year drought in the desert southwest are not anomalies at all but it is a permanent climate change to these places. No longer can the southwest rely on the winter rains to supply their water demands. And the Southern California coast should be planting desert plants rather than scrubrush as they are more resistant to fire and can tolerate very dry climates. And the people in the west are going to have to come to grips with the water waste that is all so common there.
Will conservatives continue to deny that global warming is a fact when the evidence is staring them in the face?

A small amount of Conservatives are starting to admit that Global Warmining is happening. Glenn Beck (A Conservative) said a few months ago, that you have to be insane not to think it is happening. President Bush has even said he believes in Global Warming.
Now the real goal is to get our Government to do something about it….that I doubt will happen.
