There is the old addage that those who lie, need more lies to cover their tracks. That appears to be the case today with Guy Adams. During the night last night guy posted the following comment on the site listing himself as “X”.
Dear Joe Brummer,
I just read about your call to your supporters on YOUR blog encouraging them to economically damage me by contacting what YOU claim, is my place of employment. You allege things that have not occurred or may not even be true. At the least, you have asserted employment links that I have never made or have even insinuated. Although you said otherwise, it is clear that you are slandering me and misconstruing my words. You are explicitly making a link that I have not made. You are the author and originator of that ‘information’, not I.
I have not identified my department or my job. Not even by inference.
I have never threatened you or any non-heterosexuals. Not by inference or even the perception thereof.
I have never advocated violence against you or any gays; in fact, should you actually take the time to read my articles on homosexuality on www.RenewAmerica.us, you’d see that homosexuality is not the only topic that I address.
I also specifically state that I do not advocate, endorse or encourage, violence or harm of any sort against homosexuals. This is quite clear in my writings and is beyond reasonable dispute.
I do however, view homosexuality as an incorrect and inappropriate lifestyle. That is my Constitutionally protected right to believe and also to express. I have not done so under color-of-law or in any unprotected public or semi-public, forum. No relief is legally available to you under these circumstances..
I do not now, nor will I in the future, incite hate or violence — or even the perception thereof, against you or any member of the homosexual (or related) community. I am opposed to that. Did you even read my articles?
Most critically, the Supreme Court has declared that ‘print’ and ‘written’ speech are afforded the same protections as verbal speech, and therefore my views on the Internet are Constitutionally protected. Any damages should therefore be claimed by me, not by you.
You have openly slandered me and my work, and you have endeavored to restrict my ability to make a living in the profession of my choice; and you have also insinuated my position and place of employment — without evidence and especially without any inference or perception on my part, and moreover, without ANY inference to either of those by me.

The issue here is that Mr. Adams is not telling the truth. He has listed his day job for us and then removed that info….nice try…..

He also is no longer listing himself as Deputy Director anymore….Huumm!!

The other thing Mr. Adams has done is misrepresent Free Speech. This post is free speech. Making threats via email, yelling FIRE in a public place and inciting others to commit crimes are not Free Speech regardless what Mr. Adams will tell you.

to me, its about integrity. mr. adams can “disagree” with homosexuality all he likes but when he starts telling lies (i.e. we like to have sex with infants), a line is drawn.

It sounds like he is trying to protect his behind. Let’s take a look at some of his words:
“YOU brought this war to me and I will finish it. And there are many, many more like me too.”
So Guy, how exactly are you going to ‘finish it’?
“In other words, I declare war against you and your kind.”
So Guy, war means violence–you have declared war–how is this not inciting violence???
“In the course of a few short months, no one will want to mention your name out of sheer fear.”
So Guy, why would I fear to name Joe Brummer, except that you have threatened him and anyone who even names his name? And what kind of fear are you going to make sure all of us feel?
“Understand that quite well, because in a true war (unlike Iraq), all means available to me will be used.”
By what means will you win your war, Guy? What means are available to you? Maybe your profession will make it easy for you to get the weapons you need–whatever those weapons are?
“Enjoy your brief stay in the spotlight.”
If that isn’t threatening language, I don’t know what is.
Joe, you need to be very careful with this guy and I am glad you are taking steps to do that.
From the differences in his bio, it looks like the people at Renew America might be making some changes (or maybe they have made some changes already).

My last contact with Adams was this morning. He couldn’t even type correctly in his e-mail, which leads me to believe that if he couldn’t think clearly enough to edit his syntax and spelling, that something has shaken him to the core - recently. He has only brought this war upon himself, which is sad. In the end, I fear, his warlike thought patterns can only be self-destructive, and this recent change in the bio and his sudden change in typing mannerisms may be evidence that this has already happened.

My concern is that Deputy Sheriff Adams is likely charged with enforcing the Illinois Human Rights Act () and Illinois’ hate crime law (). After reading Adams’ articles and letters to Joe, it disturbed me that Adams is likely policing areas where LGBT people live — I would personally be scared to death if Adams was the police officer who showed up at my door after I called to report unlawful discrimination or a hate crime.

Speaking of lies, I also see that Stacy has purged her blog of her history once again and is moving to a new blog (http://ncol.typepad.com/stacy_l_harp/). However, it is no different from her previous 3 versions–she is obsessed with everything gay and lesbian. It is too bad she can’t focus her energy on something good for a change…

What I find even more just, pathetic of an action is her latest post on the new blog is some really old story everybody as already hased out over and over. The Story she is using to show “gays are after the children so we can eat them” is from April of 2005. OLD NEWS, but it works for her to prove to herself how evil those pesky gay people really are.
She will never change her tune, but people do get tired of the same song over and over.

Yes, she will never change her tune. And she erased all of my comments that questioned her motives or asked for proof. I find that quite funny considering how many times she has tried to rewrite her own history. I guess from now on when I write a comment to her I will save it!

As for getting kicked off typepad, I don’t know why she left typepad. I know I had some long email discussion with a women from typepad trying to get them to deem Stacy Blog hate Speech. They have some stricked rules about hate speech. The women acknowledged that Stacy’s blog was in fact hate speech, but would never tell me what she would do about it.
My question for Stacy is the same as it is fo Bennett, Foster, Chambers, even Thomas…..What is your goal?
Do you want every homo to be ex-gay? DO you want every person who has same sex attractions to be celebant? SHould we all go back into the closet? WHat do these people want from us? What is their expected and proposed expectation?
I have never gotten an answer from any of them that made any sense.

Sorry Joe, I was referring to Stacy’s newest blog (www. stacyharp.com/). She discusses an article in the SF Chronicle about smoking in the gay and lesbian community and misrepresents it. If she had read that article, she would have seen that a number of people report they smoke because of the stress that family rejection has caused because they are gay. She conveniently left this out of her ‘report.’ I told her so (among other things) and she deleted those comments. She also wrote about that old Little Black Book story, and I questioned her about that. She has now blocked me totally from her brand new website. Anyway, I discuss it on my own blog, so she can go there to read what else I have to say! She can rewrite her own history, but she can’t rewrite mine.

That “little black book” thing is from 2005, it is old news…that is the point. She will dig up whatever she can to show we are out to get the children…..
I think Stacy has a good heart and means well, but her idea of means will is wrong.

I have to say after all this time reading material that she has written and hearing her, I don’t think she means well at all, and I haven’t caught a glimpse of any good heart. She is totally obsessed and she might believe she is doing something good, but giving a voice to Guy Adams and manipulating evidence has nothing to do with a good heart…

It is hard to see people like Stacy as having a good heart. Most of what we see from her in my opinion comes from a place of pain. If brother died of AIDS. Maybe in her mind she feels she is doing someone good. I don’t think she cans see past her own pain to see she is causing even more for others.
It is not that she doesn’t have a good heart, it is that her heart is filled with pain. Doesn’t change the fact she is wrong and what she is doing is immoral, but I get it that it comes not from evil, but from her own pain.
